I love it that you smile in nearly all your photos. I would be grinning from ear-to-ear too if I had 80 plus things to pull from my closet to wear that I had made for myself. They all have a unity too that I am missing in my clothing. All in all I applaud you for exceptional workmanship - the kind that makes the clothes look great on the body, and for your careful choice of fabric and color. Bravo, Standing O.
ReplyDeleteO why couldn't you be my sister! I want all your clothes! I am a recent sewer, having never had much interest in the craft. However, a few years back I decided to bite the bullet and enrol on a sewing course - I loved it. When I see what talented people like yourself can achieve, it gives me the impetus to get sewing. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane, I am a long time reader of your blog and first time commenter. Thank you for sharing your beautiful, inspiring wardrobe and awesome blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the dresses you make! The 40s style especially. And you pick a certain look (nautical, classic) which is what i love about blogs - their individual style
ReplyDeleteLots of inspiration here! So glad to have found your blog!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love these clothes. Especially helpful for naming the styles.
