  11. I have been so inspired by your blog and your handmade wardrobe. After 13 years I'm starting to make my own clothes again. I never thought I'd make trousers but this blog has changed my mind. Fabric shops... Here I come!

  18. I love it that you smile in nearly all your photos. I would be grinning from ear-to-ear too if I had 80 plus things to pull from my closet to wear that I had made for myself. They all have a unity too that I am missing in my clothing. All in all I applaud you for exceptional workmanship - the kind that makes the clothes look great on the body, and for your careful choice of fabric and color. Bravo, Standing O.

  19. O why couldn't you be my sister! I want all your clothes! I am a recent sewer, having never had much interest in the craft. However, a few years back I decided to bite the bullet and enrol on a sewing course - I loved it. When I see what talented people like yourself can achieve, it gives me the impetus to get sewing. Thank you for sharing.

  21. Love the dresses you make! The 40s style especially. And you pick a certain look (nautical, classic) which is what i love about blogs - their individual style
