I made one a few weeks ago without the pleat, and am super fond of it, especially with the weather getting warmer by the day (actually, I'm wearing it right now). I agree, the original pattern is quite short, even for short little me. I haven't quite decided yet if I like the neckline/straps on my figure, but I may still make another one, just so I have more summer options that are work appropriate. Surprisingly, I don't feel boxy in it, even untucked, which was my largest worry, although that might be thanks to the fabric I used.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16969581295617570995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512115797894439080.post-47301862838422951322011-06-24T21:39:25.083+01:002011-06-24T21:39:25.083+01:00Beautiful!!! I agree about the length it is super short on me as well! I am a relatively tall person and to avoid looking maternity chic it is going to have to be worn tucked in to high waisted skirts and pants! I really loved the top so I figured why not make more? I was lucky and made no adjustments initially.
